BlogMas 2018 Day Eleven - Storm Trooper

Living away from home makes you realise how ephemeral your relationships with people can be. One thing it undoubtedly teaches you is that time might have a limit on itself, but never on the intensity of your relationships. The easiest thing to feel firsthand with anyone, even a stranger is laughter. Just good, free laughter. The tougher bit is to feel safe enough with someone to make a punching bag out of the other person as well.
Last year, Christmas was both something, and nothing to write home about. I shared it with someone who I fought with without fighting, helped without showing, laughed with crying. And out of all weightier days when we were vexed at the rest of the world, but only had each other to uncloak it in front of, there'd sometimes be an Affogato awaiting me in the evenings.
At times, we love listening to some people; not because they're talented enough to even paint Keats in a different light. Mostly, for just how insanely preposterous their thoughts are, you can't help but want to give it a hear. I've created family out of a lot of people in life. Anisha was the first time ever I felt what being family to someone else felt like. Any reaction, or feeling or thought had never been obscured from her. She's as open as they come. And for someone who's never settled her entire life, she is my one warm place and memory to always go to. We all like to be cared for, from time to time. Anisha made me feel dependable in the most inconspicuous ways, which is refreshing and so calming and dynamic at the same time. Let the crazy loose a little. There's much to gain from it.

Until then.
