Blogmas 2020 Day Seven: Jhankaar

Over the past few years, I've turned into a massive advocate of energy. And, a major lesson I've derived from that belief is patience. A lot of us enact as being the sort of people "who let things take their natural course." As another human myself, I can say I have it on good authority, the majority of us don't hold the kind of grit to be tailgating that theory. I was one of them. I would rush into things, on the pretext if I don't give it my 200%, it's not going to happen. And, how wrong I was.  For some of us, we deem we're giving something more than our all. But in effect, the truth is, for the longest time we're never able to figure, how much of our all, is really our all. It's an immensely tricky thing to know of. Our minds are our sanctum. So, when we assume we're giving our 200%, and we fail, that same mind uses up all its corners, including the little sanctuary you created in it. And, there goes the peace of mind. And, we do this o...

BlogMas 2019 Day Nineteen - कब?

Image
Hello. There's nothing much to say, and there's nothing much to share, The country is in peril, and it's still standing together. By the end of this year, this country might not be as we've known it anymore, But it'll still be ours. The hum of our mundaneness will soon return, But don't forget the fire in your belly you felt on being an Indian today. There'll be more things in life that you'll care about, But don't forget how much you potentially cared for this, for only you believed in it. They say the truth can't be concealed, So, remember that the world is standing with you. Those who say the truth, claim it with pride, Those who say the truth, have never had to hide, Only the wrongdoers will ever ask you for a chance, And, in an air pregnant with righteousness, how do they even survive? More tomorrow. Until then. Artist: Ryan Rumbolt Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, A.

BlogMas 2019 Day Seven - To My Younger Self

Image
Dear A, I'm confused as to how to address you anymore.  Have you cached up on more names now? What's the latest sobriquet? More so, are you able to identify now with any of them? And, don't try to distort the truth to yourself, Ask for help, you're going to be in need of it. And, don't go at it alone,  It will be crushingly vexing, And, don't say no incessantly, It'll make you sound uninspiring, Nobody is going to know you whole immediately, So don't be worried if they judge you, You're about to rattle them. And, labouring isn't always going to affirm fulfilment, So let some ambiguity exist. And, you're irreplaceable, as is everyone, So don't care so much. And, you'll make friends, So keep empowering them, They will liberate you....one day. Don't fight shy of feeling, You're going to be jolted for a six. And, you will be marooned, you will be heartbroken, So don't clo...

Eternities

Image
Trying to make sense of it all, How really were eternities in a moment, Walking down the freezing night, Smelling December in the wind,  The fallen leaves ask, The dimming moon doubts, With everything around questionable, Yet unanswered, Fighting the cold,  Stuffing your hands in the years old jacket, Lathered in dust,  And that's how you've liked it, just because, You feel a crunch, You hold on tight to it, And tighter to your heart, Maybe, just maybe, you know what it is, You hope for it, You've been looking for it ever since, again just because, You take it out, glare at it, turn it around, And feel the familiarity of the words warming through you, And you crunch it along the same folds, And put it back, You know now, where your survival trick lies, You know now, felt it again, Eternities in a moment.
